MTN Nigeria pulls out of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, TV Game Show Suspended indefinitely

When I was a kid, this used to be my favorite TV show. I always dreamed being on the hot seat and calling my brainy sister and dad as lifelines, amd eventually wining the cash price of 10 million naira. That dream never happened.

After 13 long years of entertaining and educating Nigerians, the Popular TV game Show "Who wants to be a Millioniare" will be going off air indefinetely. This was announced on Sunday 25th of June, 2017 in a series of tweets, through their official twitter handle @WWTBAM.

To confirm the rumours, the  TV Game Shows host Frank Edoho who has been the host of this show since its inception in 2004 tweeted about the show going off the air. 

The good news is the Who Wants to Be A Millionaire App will still reward players and winners weekly the sum of  5000naira and a monthly cash prize of 20,000 naira for the top player for each month, pending their resumption, if they ever do so.
